The cost of human genome sequencing was once billions of dollars and now it's possible to sequence an entire genome for less than $100. Many prodigious tech innovations have a high starting price that becomes stunningly cheaper over time. The expectation is that meat made in the laboratory will follow this trajectory! This example was given by Kyle Fish, a Mission Barns researcher who participated in StartSe's AgroTech Conference in Brazil.
